I have the HY-2010-TP portable player and converter and have successfully transferred and saved a test cassette to Audacity on my computer. I want to now transfer the “wave form” to a CD. Can you please outline (list) the steps necessary to do this. I have already downloaded and installed the LAME MP3 encoder if that is necessary. Thanks, Dave Horn
LAME is not required for this task. LAME is only required for exporting in MP3 format, which is not what you need.
The steps are:
- Export the audio as one or more WAV files.
- Load the WAV files into your CD burning program and burn a CD.
For a more detailed description, see here: http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/burning_music_files_to_a_cd.html
If you want to make a regular audio CD, make sure to “tell” your burning software to make an audio CD.
If you simply copy WAV or MP3 files to a CD, you will be able to play them on a computer, but not on a CD player (except some car CD players & some DVD players can play MP3).
