I want to report a bug. This is present in 3.2.2 and 3.2.3. I am using window 10. If I have more than one audacity files open on my computer and I change the balance control on any but the first file I opened. The first file becomes active. I can get back to the file I was on by clicking on it in the task bar. When I get back to that file the balance has been changed. This did not happen in versions prior to 3.2.2. I’m having difficulty following your description.
Do you mean that you have several Audacity projects open? (each Audacity window is a separate “project”).
How are opening several “files” / “projects”?
Are you talking about “projects”, “files”, or “tracks”?
Perhaps you can provide step by step instructions to reproduce the issue.
