[BUG] Export Selected audio

Hello, I would like to report a bug. Export of selected audio saves past selection of audio and not current selection.
It would also be of interest if anyone else could see if they can reproduce this bug as well.

Windows 10 Audacity 2.4.1

Steps to reproduce bug:
I have a saved project open with 5 tracks, Mono 44100Hz 32-bit float. I select a portion of the first track with mouse (generally a small section 1 second - 3 seconds).

File → Export → Export Selected Audio
Save as type WAV (Microsoft)
Encoding Signed 32-bit PCM
OK

More than half of the time what is saved is not the same as what was just selected. It seems to sometime save an older selection. Reselecting the selection seems to most the time work to fix the issue. (It’s quite irritating to have to repeat this process every few selections though.)

Oh interesting, I thought I had downloaded a recent build.
The newer version seems to work fine. Sorry!

I also had a similar bug, but after updating to a new version of the program, this problem disappeared.
