Bringing 1 track in from a 2nd audacity project.

Hi,

Because of Covid-19 I want to try something with my jam club that involves bringing (two “Band in a box” .wav audio tracks) into audacity with typically 5 repeats of the song (5 choruses) then sending this audacity project out to typically 3 to 5 club members such that they each add 1 track to their copy of the project then they all send their copies back to me and one-by-one I bring only the 1 track they recorded in to the original I sent out. I then put the final mix on sound cloud for the club to listen to.

Is there an easy way to bring 1 track from another audacity project file into the current loaded audacity project?

The easiest and safest way is to export the track as a WAV file, then it can be Imported into other projects.
WAV format is preferable to MP3 because MP3 encoding irreversibly reduces the sound quality.
