I’m doing a school project and need to make a theme song similar to the Brady Bunch theme song. It’s me singing (male voice) - how can I edit my voice to sound like that in the Brady Bunch theme song?
Audacity doesn’t have very good voice changing tools. Effect > Change Pitch is usually going to sound like Donald Duck if you push it further than a musical note or two.
“Make My Voice Sound Like…” is a frequent request.

Round up some kids and get them to sing it.
“Here’s a story…”

Right! The best way to mimic a voice is to find someone who is a good mimic (or several people who are good mimics).
As far as I know, there’s no software to make an adult voice sound (realistically) like a child or a female sound like a male, etc. Simply changing the pitch won’t do it. You also have to change the timbre of the voice.
Google found this:
The theme song sung by the Peppermint Trolley Company from California. They sang the for the pilot episode and season 1, and later the vocals were sung by studio musicians.
Seasons 2 through 5 were sung by the Brady kids. In season 2 is was just the Brady boys who lent their (off key) voices to the opening of the show. Seasons 3 through 5 contained both the Brady boys and girls voices in the intros.
The “best” free voice gender changer is usually thought to be Rovee. It changes formants so it is more than just a pitch changer. Just don’t expect miracles.
It’s a VST plugin. See here for how to install VST plugins: http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/faq_installation_and_plug_ins.html#vst_install.
