My Yeti Pro is recording above the baseline of 0. Turning the gain all the way down puts it closer to baseline, but then compressing or EQ file puts it above baseline again. Updated, uninstalled, reinstalled, still occurring. On both Mac and Windows. Am I the only one with this problem?
What do you mean “above the baseline of 0”?
If you’re talking about [u]DC Offset[/u] it’s caused by a defect in the microphone. (Or if you are using the analog connection into a USB audio interface, the offset would be coming from the interface.)
If it’s ONLY DC offset it’s usually not a BIG problem and it can usually be removed.
Shift + Command + 4 on your Mac will give you a cross-hair cursor and you can draw a box and capture a picture of what you think is wrong. Post the picture.
