Blue Yeti input device error [SOLVED]

I recently got a Blue Yeti microphone, and audacity will not allow me to record with it. I have made sure the bit rate is correct (48kHz), I have tried recording in both mono and stereo, and even when I record with a different microphone, I cannot play through the Yeti’s output slot. I have changed my input and output devices to the Yeti in system preferences. What have I missed?

48000 Hz is the sample rate.

Try setting up the Yeti with 48000 Hz sample rate, same number of recording channels as in Audacity, in /Applications/Utilities/Audio MIDI Setup. Restart Audacity.
