I was playing an unedited section from a long podcast pilot episode (originally 4+ hours of audio cut down to a little over 2) when an error message popped up and the program crashed. When I tried to recover the files afterward the program loaded a blank document that still has all the edited blocks but no waveform.
In the log it says:
“Error: Failed to load shared library ‘avformat-55.dll’ (error 126: The specified module could not be found.)”
Error: Failed to load shared library ‘.dll’ (error 126: The specified module could not be found.)
As well as repeated warnings about missing data block files and expected reads with zero samples.
When I tried playing the waveformless document I got a message saying “failed to read from a file in c:”
I still have all the original audio files in the same place they have always been. Is there any fixing this? Or do I have to start from scratch?
