Behringer Q802 USB no connection

Hello,
I’m running Windows 10 latest update on my computer.

I can’t connect my Behringer mixer to the Audacity ,the mixer has a USB audio interface so i can connect it directly to my PC.

I have already rescan audio, but no result.
My plan is to make recordings with the mixer i have a microphone and a electric guitar connected to the mixer.

My experience with the software is zero , so i hope some one can help me out,

Thanks,

Charlie

Try

  • rebooting your computer, and then…
  • If you have Skype (or other VOIP), shut it down completely (Skype automatically starts up in the background).
  • Connect the mixer to the computer and wait for a few moments. Windows should tell you that it has connected the device
  • Open the Windows Sound Control Panel and check in the Recording section that Windows has detected and enabled the mixer as a USB recording device
  • Launch Audacity and select the USB device in the device toolbar.

Thanks,

I will try it out

Thanks,

Charlie

Even more basic, do you have the power light on the 802? Can you make the 802 sound meter jump if you speak (never blow) into the microphone?

The 802 doesn’t need the computer connection to be a working mixer.
