Batch track creation

Hello, I’m using the last downloadable Audacity for Windows version.

I would like to setup batch processing so that all songs in a directory are combined with a single file in another directory (both files starting at 00:00 and simply playing one over each other) and saved as .wav or .mp3.

Is this possible with audacity?

The Batch system in Audacity is called Chains. All of the tools and filters have not been written to support chains yet.
