Batch removing silence

I have a bunch of files I need to remove the pauses from- However, I have to remove the pauses only from the beginning and the end; Not the silence in the middle.

I’m using windows 8.1 audacity version 2.0.6

Have you tried Trim Silence? See how to install a Nyquist plug-in.

The current Audacity version is 2.1.2 http://audacityteam.org/download/.
