Need some help, using Windows 7, and Audacity 2.3.2.
My question has to do with eliminating or reducing the bass, without supressing the drums.
Is that possible? Any hints on how to accomplish such task…

Audacity has a set of simple tone controls.
Effect > Bass and Treble.
Next up is a home style music system Graphic Equalizer…that it will take me a minute to find. Audacity 2.3.3 is new and some of the tools are scrambled.

The sliders on the left affect the low tones and the pitch changes get higher as you go to the right. Use the preview button to see what the tones are doing after you move the slider.
Experiment.
