I sometimes remaster my music for my own use. On 2.0.5, there no bass or treble limit. Now there is a limit of 15db. Why is this?
It’s due to a change to how user input is validated. In the next version of Audacity, the limit will be increased to +/- 30 dB.
In the meantime, if you require more boost or cut, just apply the effect again. The “dB” settings add up, so if for example you want +30 dB bass boost, you can apply +15 dB twice (or +10 dB three times).
OK, I see.
