Estimados/as: soy muy nuevo usando audacity version 2.4.1 y les paso a contar lo que me sucedió: Mi padre tiene un conjunto de folklore en Argentina y cantaron hace varios meses en un teatro y el problema fue que el sonidista al grabar todo el show cuando me entregó el material solo tenia 1 carpeta principal y adentro muchas mas carpetas y adentro de esas carpetas están los archivos de audios pero son 256 archivos de audios por carpeta! y que duran muy pocos segundos !! Tiene alguna solución para que esos 256 archivos que se encuentran en cada carpeta se puedan unir ordenadamente cada parte de esos audios y pueda recuperar todo el audio del show ? Espero me puedan ayudar con ésta complicación el cual es muy importante para mi y para mi padre poder solucionarlo.Les dejo imagenes para que puedan ver como están las carpetas y archivos.Muchas Gracias
An [u]Audacity Project[/u] has many small files. When you Export as WAV or MP3, etc., you’ll get a “regular” audio file.
It is understood, but they already passed it to me like this. What solution do I have? sorry for my ignorance but I don’t know much
Unfortunately, there is no solution other than meticulously going in and stitching together the individual 6-second chunks. You may find that this can take longer than locating the original recording engineer and getting him to surrender the original .aup file which is literally, the key to the whole show.
On the bright side, the 3.0.0 version of Audacity which we are hopeful will be released this quarter has restructured the Audacity work file, so this issue should no longer occur.

You need the “.AUP” file to go with that folder. Unless you have both the “.aup” file and the “_data” folder it is impossible to open the project in any version of Audacity.
lamentablemete tengo las carpetas _data y adentro mas carpetas y adentro muchisimos audios que duran 6 segundos y ni siquiera estan con nombres faciles de ordenar.Significa entonces que sin el proyecto .AUP por mas que tenga esas partecitas no hay forma que de forma por ahi automatica Audacity las ordene ? gracias
It is the “.aup” file that has the instructions that tell Audacity how to put those little data files together. Without those instructions, Audacity has no way of knowing where each of those data files should go.
