Automatically flatten EQ response

I’m trying to implement a notched filter using audacity but first I want to flatten the frequency spectrum of my music. The text I’m following has the following explanation :

In a first processing step, the music energy spectrum was digitally “flattened” by redistributing energy from lower to very high frequency ranges.

To me this means flattening the frequency response using a graphic equaliser. I should be able to do this manually but I want to modify several tracks.
Is there a filter that will do this for me?

Thanks

Garry

There is an experimental Audacity plugin which will do that,“SpectrumToEqCurve.ny”,
but it’s not user-friendly, & may not work on the most recent versions of Audacity.

There are $hop-bought plugin$ which can flatten the EQ like Acon’s de-filter, (try before you buy).
