Is there a way for Audacity to automatically save recording tracks to fixed-duration files while streaming/recording? For example, suppose I have a super long recording session, can I have it configured so that it saves to files every 10 minutes during recording with 0 interruptions?
I am not sure about fixed duration, but Audio Companion can separate files during recording with a mouse click.
IMO Audacity is not reliable for “super long” recordings. Other free software is available …
