Using 2.4.2
I want to record input from an SDR (software defined receiver). I am wanting to record several times during the nightime, i.e., a 5 minutes at 0100, 5 minutes at 0200, etc. I don’t see how to do this in Audacity but am afraid I am missing something. Does anyone know if Audacity supports such successive timed recordings?

I don’t think so. It’s one of the reasons Audacity doesn’t make a very good surveillance recorder. No way to automate file management. Another serious problem is no Time and Date stamps.
Plain Ordinary Timer Record will only do one event—you probably found that out. If you want to try automating it, you may be able to do it with a Macro.
