Automate removal of corrupted audio interspersed periodically?

I have about 15 minutes of corrupted lpcm audio. When I import it as raw data to Audacity, it turns up as a 12 hour long file with long periods of white noise with small pieces of the actual audio. So the audio is in there. Short of deleting the white noise manually, is there a way of automating the process?

The white-noise is much louder than the actual-audio,
so an upside-down noise-gate will replace the noise with silence
Then you can truncate that silence.

[ 12 hours is a lot, try processing a few minutes first ]

Hero. I’m trying it now.
