Windows 7 , Audacity 205
While recording audio from a site I want to set audacity to stop recording at a certain time while I am not there to stop it. I did try several things but with no effect. Can you walk me through how to set Audacity to stop recording?

Audacity has a pretty simple Timer.
Transport > Timer Record. You only get one “event” and it’s really easy to set the times and dates wrong. They tend to roll funny. I once set an event to record and I got the wrong day by accident. Pay Attention.
Please note you have to insure the machine doesn’t go to sleep or start doing a security update during the show. It’s harder than you think and for weird reasons.
