Brand new Macbook Pro running 13.0 and upon launching Audacity 3.2.3, I get an error message:

Yeah, I get that too. Apple’s problem, I think.

Do you have 13.1 or 13.0?
13.0.1.
So it’s possible, I suppose, this may have been fixed in 13.1.
Nope. Just updated to 13.1 and same message.

I reported it via Apple Feedback Assistant.
i also get this same message for the same AU plugin called sound isolation!
i cant find any info about it by googling… and whats interesting is, i cant find any apple au plugins in my computer at all, i’ve looked in all the different library folders, all i see are AU plugins by izotope and some other brands, but none of the standard apple AU plugins. how do i locate the apple stuff?
i also cant find that directory or path at all, appl/aufx/vois, what is that?
I have no idea. Apple has hidden them well.

This is their most recent post: “Could not reproduce with versions 3.2.3 and 3.2.4 on an M1 Macbook Pro.”
So let me suggest creating a login there and adding a post to the thread sharing your experiences.
