AUSoundIsolation on Ventura

Brand new Macbook Pro running 13.0 and upon launching Audacity 3.2.3, I get an error message:

Effect or command at appl/aufx/vois/Apple: AUSoundIsolation failed to register: could not initialize component

Yeah, I get that too. Apple’s problem, I think.

Do you have 13.1 or 13.0?

13.0.1.

So it’s possible, I suppose, this may have been fixed in 13.1.

Nope. Just updated to 13.1 and same message.

I reported it via Apple Feedback Assistant.

i also get this same message for the same AU plugin called sound isolation!

i cant find any info about it by googling… and whats interesting is, i cant find any apple au plugins in my computer at all, i’ve looked in all the different library folders, all i see are AU plugins by izotope and some other brands, but none of the standard apple AU plugins. how do i locate the apple stuff?

i also cant find that directory or path at all, appl/aufx/vois, what is that?

I have no idea. Apple has hidden them well.
