aup file to mp3

hello, I am new here, and thanks for your help, how do I change the .aup file to a mp3 file…?
it will not let me change it, thanks for all your help

where is the options, I see no options on the toolbar,alex

Make sure you have Audacity 2.0.5: Audacity ® | Download for Windows .

Install LAME: Audacity Manual .

When you choose “Export” from the File menu, you’ll see the below image. The “Options…” button is bottom right of that image. When you click that button you can choose the quality of the MP3 file.
