Has there been any attempt to make Audacity link with a text app so that a person could link a recording to notes? Various companies have such apps, but these days they all seem to be for phones, where notetaking is a lot more difficult. Being able to link notes to a recording would be invaluable for people with learning disabilities, scholars, journalists, etc.
It can be done, more or less, currently in Audacity using markers, but those are pretty limited and awkward to use.
I’m thinking about something more like the mac/ios apps Audionote https://luminantsoftware.com/apps/audionote-notepad-and-voice-recorder/, which apparently is out of production for Windows machines, or Pear Note https://www.usefulfruit.com/pearnote/, which seems to have been abandoned.
