I am using Win7 home premium. I have audacity 2.0.3 The office program I am using for creating a PP presentation is Open Office 4. I have not been able to move any sound files from Audacity to that presentation. I would like to use sound within my project. Seems that the two programs are not compatible. How can this be done?
Audacity works in its own “project” format.
Audacity projects have a “project file” and a “_data” folder. Both parts are essential to an Audacity project.
Audacity projects are not compatible with any other program, they work only with Audacity.
To make an audio file that will work with other programs you must “Export” an audio file (File menu > Export).
