Audio-technica, Focusrite Solo, Dell Laptop and Audacity not recording audio

Greetings, I am new at podcasting and audio equipment. I installed the Audio-technica AT2020 condenser mic on boom to Focusrite Solo 4th Gen to new Windows 11 laptop top via USB. Indicators appear I am recording but in Audacity and on the computers recording program no recording. Any recommendations?

Update, I am able to record on the Dell “Sound Recording” app but not in Audacity.
