Sorry, Newbie is back. So here I am going over what I did last night, editing like a pro and all of a sudden, no audio. Not only on that clip, but other clips as well. What did I hit incorrectly???
So generally, Edit > Undo will undo any specific editing operation.
How are you listening? It’s a New User mistake to assume if they can’t hear anything, the show is gone. Look at the Blue Waves on the time line and the bouncing sound meter. If they are still working, then the show is still there, you just can’t hear it.
It’s possible Audacity is still in perfect working order. Skype, Zoom, Meetings, and other communications and Chat programs take over your computer’s sound system and you have nothing to say about it. Did you Zoom with somebody and leave Zoom running in the background?
