I was recording an audition and everything was going fine. I was hitting lines well and the audio was clear. I ran into some mishaps and got everything back to normal, but now my audio isn’t clear at all. I’ve basically tried every single Hz option, 16 bit, 24, 32, nothing’s worked. I’m getting confused.
Possibly Windows “audio enhancements” have been activated.

Such enhancements must be disabled for faithful recording & playback
