Hi,
I’ve got a tape which I’ve converted to an MP3 from a reel to reel tape player. Unfortunately, the tape speeds up and slows down as the song plays.
I’ve figured that the reel to reel is probably on the way out but I wouldn’t know where to begin with fixing it and of course, I don’t really want to spend any money on it seeing as this is the only tape I want to copy over.
So, my question is… Is there any way I can fix the audio in Audacity?
I’m wondering if I could mark every snare drum beat or bass drum beat and then have Audacity automatically fix the length in-between these? Or is there a simpler way?
Any help would be very much appreciated!
