Audio corrupt in all files

All of a sudden all of my audio files in Audacity are corrupt. It happened after I installed Focusrite on my computer, if that has anything to do with it. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling both programs with no luck. Anyone who has experience with this?

Problem solved

hat sounds really frustrating! It’s possible that installing the Focusrite drivers could have affected Audacity’s audio settings or how it interacts with your system. One thing you could try is checking Audacity’s audio preferences to make sure it’s set to the correct input/output devices after installing Focusrite. Go to Edit > Preferences > Devices and ensure your Focusrite device is selected as the input/output if that’s what you’re using.

Also, you might want to check if the sample rate in Audacity matches the sample rate of your Focusrite device. Mismatched sample rates can sometimes cause corruption or playback issues. You can adjust the sample rate in Audacity under Project Rate (Hz) at the bottom of the screen.

If that doesn’t work, it might help to reset your audio drivers or try using a different USB port for the Focusrite. Hopefully, one of these steps resolves the issue! Let me know how it goes.

Thank you, yes I had some strange settings in the audio preferences. Problem solved now
