Audacity's pointer to Notch filter

Windows 10 OS; Audacity 2.1.1; downloaded as exe file

My main hard drive was getting filled up, so I moved all the program files that I could to my secondary drive. Audacity still works perfectly, but when I use the notch filter, I get prompted for its location: either the old drive (where it no longer exists) or the new one (where it does). Where is Audacity storing this information, please, and how can I edit it, so the program goes directly to the only copy of the notch filter?

I’d suggest that you completely remove Audacity from your system and reinstall with the Audacity 2.1.3 installer (download from here:

To remove Audacity:

  1. Uninstall it in the usual way from the Windows control panel
  2. Check where your applications are installed and delete the Audacity folder if it exist.
  3. Delete the Audacity folder from "Users<username>\AppData\Roaming" if it exists.

Then install Audacity 2.1.3.

Thanks, Steve,
I’d been hoping to avoid doing that, but if I need to, I will.
