When I try to record audio from my computer in audacity, it does this:
I doesn’t pick up any sound and all that appears is an unmoving red line.
You have selected the wrong recording device.
To record sound that is playing on your computer use “WASAPI” as the audio host and the “loopback” device as the recording device. See here for more information: https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/tutorial_recording_computer_playback_on_windows.html
