Audacity won't read my WAV file

I was already using Audacity with no problems. I updated Audacity and now it won’t read WAV file from my SD card. I have downloaded FFmpeg but it still won’t work. How can I fix this problem?

Try opening the file with any other program that plays Wav files and/or copy from the SD card to your hard drive and open from there.

But have you installed FFmpeg ? … Installing FFmpeg | Audacity Support

[ Don’t need FFmpeg if it is a WAV file ].

I assume you can open other WAV files?

Check the file with MediaInfoOnline and post the results here.

…MediaInfo doesn’t necessarily tell you if the file is good but it shows the format details.

P.S.
You can also try File → Import → Raw Data but it will only work with uncompressed files and you have to know (or guess) the format details. And if it is a WAV file the file header (about 42 bytes at the beginning) will be converted to audio, creating a “click” or glitch and you’ll have to edit that out.
