Audacity Window Immobile / Cutting off at the Top

Hello!
I downloaded Audacity last weekend (2.1.0), and it started out absolutely fine. For the past few days, however, the window that opens when I create a new project or open a saved project is cut off at the top and completely immobile, which means I cannot minimize or close windows, I cannot move from project to project, and I cannot read the title of the project I currently am on. I have to completely quit the program to get rid of a window/project, which is particularly annoying because I am doing audiobook recording and each chapter needs to be saved as a different project. I’ve restart the program and my computer several times, but it’s still displaying this way. Is this a known bug? Can I toggle something in the display?

The current version of Audacity is 2.3.0, which is available via the Audacity website: Audacity ® | Download for Mac OS

I can’t see anything wrong in that screen shot. The title bar is visible with the close, minimize and maximize buttons.

If, after downloading Audacity 2.3.0 from https://www.fosshub.com/Audacity.html , your windows are still not behaving, you should reset Audacity’s preferences. Let us know if you need help with that.

This normally happens when you maximize the Audacity Window on Mac to full screen.

Just hover your cursor near the top of the screen and the menu bar and the sizer bar will temporarily apper - then just minimize the Audacity window to non-fullscreen.
