I observed that the waveform window in Audacity is taken screenshot of every now and then (probably every 2 minutes?). I am using Audacity 3.0.5 in Windows 11. I wonder if this is an Audacity issue, or a background process in Windows is taking screen captures of all frames (not just Audacity frames) periodically. Is there a way to find out? Can the experts in this forum who are well-versed with windows background processes etc. help? Much appreciate your response. Thanks & Best Regards.
Yes, Windows can take screenshots unbidden for later support. I thought this was something you had to explicitly turn on if you want it. Check the CoPilot settings for “Recall”.
