Audacity Stops Converting Into Mp3 - Help

I’ve already downloaded a few songs and exported them as mp3 files. I have Lame already downloaded. When I logged back onto my computer now it doesn’t export the file as an mp3. The exported file shows up where I saved it but it hasn’t converted it at all. What am I doing wrong?

Many downloaded music files are already MP3, so why are you converting MP3 to MP3? Are you using the same filename as the original to save the conversion? Koz
