Hi. Problem in title. Since Auducaty 2.0.5 (only this version doesn’t resets sound settings) I can’t update it to any newer version because this problem.
In attached screens you can see what I’m talking about.

A few other Audacity users have reported similar volume resets where there is a volume slider for each channel, but they say the problem started with Audacity 2.0.3.
You can try choosing a different host in Audacity Device Toolbar, or go to the web site of your computer manufacturer and see if there is a later audio driver for your computer model.
If that does not help you can open Windows Device Manager and see if there is a previous set of Soundmax drivers you can roll back to.
