Audacity - PGP ( Pretty Good Privacy )?

Hi Team,

We are from Enbridge application support team; we are trying to audit and rotate the encryption keys. We would like to know if “Audacity” uses PGP ( Pretty Good Privacy ) protocol for any sort of encryption. If yes, when was the PGP encryption key last rotated. Please help!

I’m curious as to what part of Audacity you think would use PGP?

I would like to know if “Audacity” uses PGP ( Pretty Good Privacy ) protocol for any sort of encryption. If yes means, when was the PGP encryption key last rotated. Please help on this!

Again, it mystifies me why you think that we would use it, so to answer the question: We don’t use it. There is no functionality in Audacity which requires E2EE in this way. Audacity does use HTTPS encryption for communication to servers though (eg update checking).

Okay, Thank you for the information.
