Lousy title…
Audacity 2.3.2…I use it every day…was using about an hour ago…Came in to do some more work and Audacity does not work…
Here is what I mean…
Open Audacity…
Open a WAV file…
I want to play the WAV file…
I click on the “Play” button…
Absolutely nothing happens…
The track (transport) should start moving…but it does not…
It’s like the track is paused…
I pause on…pause off nada…
I’m stumped…
Appreciate any suggestion…

Ensure that “Sound Activated Recording” is NOT enabled in “Transport menu > Transport Options”.
I checked and there is a check mark beside Sound Activated Recording which would mean it is turned ON…
But it is grayed out and I cannot change it…
Also…to remove a track I click the “X” in the upper left hand corner…but it has stopped working also…
I’m going to reinstall and see if that makes any difference…

Ensure that you “Reset Preferences” during the installation.
So I reinstalled Audacity and everything is back to normal…
Bit of a glich somewhere…
