Audacity not recording Vinyl LP audio in full stereo

Audacity 2.3.2
Windows 10 PC
JVC Receiver RX-5V
Pioneer Turntable (RCA-connected to Phono outlets on JVC) playing a Stereo LP
RCA to 3.5mm cable connects JVC - TAPE REC - to Blue audio Line-In 3.5mm outlet on PC
Transport/Software Playthrough is ON so I can monitor PC’s audio via headphones

This is my first attempt at setting my equipment up to digitize my LPs via Audacity.
I have studied manuals and FAQs for 2 days. Unable to find a solution.
On my headphones, I hear the audio in Stereo, but see the signal on Left channel only,
with only an occasional “blip” on the right channel. Using the “2(stereo) Recording channel” option results in
only one track being recorded. AudioTrack is set to stereo 44100Hz, 32-bit float and Waveform is selected.
Beginning with empty tracks, Recording only populates the Left track. Right track is blank.
Because the headphones reflect a full Stereo signal. I have discounted problems in my exterior setup of
receiver, turntable, and connecting cable. I suspect I’m missing a critical Audacity setup function.
Please assist.

Issue resolved. As a last resort, I replaced my RCA-3.5mm cable and everything is working great!

Good! The strange thing is… You were somehow getting stereo in your headphones. I couldn’t think of any way you’d be hearing stereo in playthrough but only recording one channel and I still don’t understand it.
