Every time when i am using audacity i am hearing background noises ,i think from my laptop cooler,i am registering with laptop mic but if the background noise is from the cooler,when normalizing the sound it dont shows up,when amplifying the sound it dont shows up too,the noise is continuing but isnt showing up so i cant get its profile and remove it,also my laptop is Lenovo,but anyways i cant remove it,help me please somebody,faster.

Are you saying the audio waveform isn’t showing-up, or the effects are not showing-up in the menu? You have to Stop recording/playback before you can apply the effects.
