I tried to download Audacity this evening, but was unable to open it. I kept getting the message that: ‘The system has detected that another copy of Audacity is running. Running two copies of Audacity simultaneously may cause data loss or cause your system to crash. use the New or Open commands in the currently running Audacity process to open multiple projects simultaneously’. Any advice gratefully received on how to get out of this loop and to be actually able to use the program?
