Audacity failed to open a file

I created a project (for over 6h :cry: ) and in the moment i was saving, audacity crashed.

I got this message:

“timestamp”: 1628711476,
“event_id”: “cc3412654ecb3c4e94adefbda921580d”,
“platform”: “native”,
“release”: “audacity@3.0.3”,
“contexts”: {
“os”: {
“type”: “os”,
“name”: “Windows”,
“version”: “10.0.19043”
“exception”: {
“values”: [
“type”: “File_Error”,
“value”: “Audacity failed to read from a file in .”,
“mechanism”: {
“type”: “runtime_error”,
“handled”: false,
“data”: {
“sqlite3.rc”: “101”,
“sqlite3.context”: “SqliteSampleBlock::Load::step”

And now i cannot open the project again. Audacity says “Audacity failed to open a file”.

As i said, it was 6h work…Is there any chance that i can get the project (or at least the audiofiles) back?

Greetings from Berlin!!

I would be soo happy, if someone could take a look at the file:

Hi, Manu!

Thank you for the file, I will look into!

crsib has managed to recover two audio files from the project. I have sent you a PM (private message) with details.

No way!

It worked, everything is fine…

Thank you so much! You rescued my *ss!

You guys are crazy, is there a way to donate a coffee or something?

Greetings and thank you so much!

That has been said before :confused: :open_mouth: :smiley:

Just spread the word, and if / when you feel able to help others, do so :smiley:
