Audacity failed to open a file in C Error

I had been working on a multiple track file for a few hours and then when I came back to it, the file will not open and I get this error. Inside the error I get this:

{
“timestamp”: 1773397241,
“event_id”: “664d99756754ad47a037ddda3cebb22c”,

},

“sqlite3.context”: “SqliteSampleBlock::Load::step”

]
}
}

Can anyone help? I tried to do the manual fix I found on support, but that did not work either.

When I follow the “fix” from audacity, I get as far on the command prompt to where is says: C:\Users\_________\Downloads\AudRepair>audacity-project-tools -drop_autosave broken.aup3 - but instead of getting “Project requires Audacity 3.0.0” as it says on Audacity help, I get: unable to open database file and then I cannot get it to create a new file to attempt to open.

How big is the project file, please? Provided it’s not too huge I’d be willing to look at it. I am using 3.7.7 though so it may still not open in 3.7.5. It might mean being forced to upgrade to re-open it - provided it can be fixed, of course.

That would be great. How can I get it to you. It is 941 MB

I’ve tried everything I know and I have to admit defeat, I’m afraid. The database is corrupt and the Audacity project tools won’t fix it. Sorry! I tried.
Since you mentioned that it is a multi-track project, I’d suggest learning to use a DAW program like Reaper, Waveform Free or anything you might have tried/heard of. They are better suited to the task. Lots of people do use Audacity because it’s easier to use. It’s just not as robust as it could be.
