I am getting this message on all 3.x.x version. The 3.3.3 version was working and today it stop working. I tried the 3.3.0, 3.3.1, 3.3.2, and 3.3.3 version.
Each test is preceeded with deleting audacity folder under root library, user library, renamed audacity.app after testing to save the tested version.
I am running Ventura 13.4.1, 3 GHz 6-Core Intel Core i5 processor, 338 GB disk space, 72GB memory.
Any suggestions?

### Bug description
After updating to version 3.x.x, Audacity refuses to star… t.
### Steps to reproduce
Launch Audacity.
### Expected behavior
Audacity should start.
### Actual behavior

```
### Audacity Version
latest stable version (from audacityteam.org/download)
### Operating system
Linux
### Additional context
Not sure if it's relevant, but in the system journal I get:
```
Gdk-CRITICAL **: gdk_screen_get_root_window: assertion 'GDK_IS_SCREEN (screen)' failed
Gdk-CRITICAL **: gdk_window_get_display: assertion 'GDK_IS_WINDOW (window)' failed
Gdk-CRITICAL **: gdk_cursor_new_from_pixbuf: assertion 'GDK_IS_DISPLAY (display)' failed
```
No other GTK app is having this issue, and there is certainly no resource shortage.
Resource #2:
I have uninstalled and re-downloaded several times, but I still cannot manage to get the program to open.
I used Audacity to record an audiobook without any trouble in July and August of this year. Now that I am trying to go back and edit the audiobook into its constituent chapters for upload onto a platform, I cannot get the program to open.
Repeatedly, I have gotten this message: “The Audacity IPC server failed to initialize. This is likely due to a resource shortage and a reboot may be req…
