Hello I have Audacity 2.0.3 and I was playing around with the EQ feature. Now it stays as a straight line and I can’t fathom how to get it back to the presetting EQ. Any suggestions or do I need to just download Audacity all over again?

The current version of Audacity is 2.0.6 which you can download (free of course) from here: http://audacityteam.org/download/windows
To restore “factory settings”, during the installation, look out for the option to “reset preferences” and ensure that is selected. You will be asked to confirm that you want to reset preferences when you run the new version for the first time.
Please note that if you use FFmpeg (which extends the range of supported audio formats), then that has been updated, so you will need to also download and install the new version of that.
