Audacity don't start

I installed Audacity win 2.1.0. Windows 7

When I run the software I get:

“Audacity no puede encontrar un lugar donde almacenar los archivos temporales. Indique una carpeta apropidad en la ventana de preferencias”

Audacity can’t find a place where to store temporary files. Enter an appropriate folder in the preferences window.

Software close. And I can’t upgrade temporary folder settings.

Please note, I have a ssd hard drive for system and software. And another standard hard drive where I have temp files.

Is there a way to set termporary files folder manual?

The default temp folder is

C:\Users\<your user name>\AppData\Local\Temp\audacity_temp

You can set the temp folder path in the audacity.cfg settings file. It’s at:

Users\<your user name>\AppData\Roaming\Audacity\

If you cannot see that folder, type

%appdata%

into the Explorer address bar.
