I tried running audacity normally and I did not succeed, until I did some research and had it run by installing Microsoft c ++ redistributable 2015. This is a problem since I wanted to run the portable version and it did not work without this package. This can be a big problem for other users who do not have administrator permission to install audacity and need to run the portable version.
