Audacity crashed mid recording now I can't export or save the file

I was recording a podcast and Audacity stopped recording due to space issues on my computer. Now I can’t do anything with Audacity. I can’t save the current file or export. Playing the file to rerecord it on OBS isn’t an option either. I don’t want to close Audacity because I don’t want to lose audio file. But is that my only option at this point?
edit: I cleared some space on my computer to make room to save/export and I still can’t do anything.

If Audacity is still alive, drag-select a portion of the show…

…and File > Export Audio > Computer > WAV, Current Selection.

If you ran out of room during a recording, that could be The End Of The World. Someone else may post.
