Audacity changed my playback settings HELP!

Ok so I’m using a usb steelseries siberia v2 headset

before i installed audacity i had stereo sound
now after 10 mins of trying to make a song follow another i now have mono sound on the headset,

i tried it on another computer and it works as stereo like intended

i tried looking in the control panel playback and it says stereo but its not

theres an equalizer program that comes with the headset but it says nothing about mono or stereo so i dont think its that

audio card is integrated 99% sure

i tried uninstalling audacity didnt do much

i dont know how to fix this i would love to be helped.

Audacity does not modify your sound device settings. Make sure you have a stereo track in Audacity.

A USB headset is a separate audio device from the built-in sound card. You would have to check the USB headset settings in Windows rather than settings for the built-in speakers.

Reinstalling Audacity does not reset its settings unless you choose “Reset Preferences” half way through the installation.

If you need more help, please say what version of Audacity and what version of Windows you have (see the pink panel at the top of this page).
