Hi -

I’ve not been on here for an age but run into a problem since I downloaded the latest 2.4.2 version of Audacity recently having upgraded to Catalina 10.15.5. The problems is when trying to record vinyl and play the output via my mixer - a Vestax VCI400. Neither the mic or the output worked.

I read a thread on here saying that Apple’s new privacy settings can affect the mic. So I changed the setting and it is working bnow ut the output isn’t. ie. i’m not able to select the Vestax. Any ideas? i’m not the most savvy tech wise so dumb it down if you can!

I’m not able to find a full user manual for the Vestax VCI-400, only the quick start guide. There is no mention in the Quick Start Guide of the mixer having USB audio, so I’d assume that it does not have USB audio. In other words, it doesn’t look like it is possible to record directly from the Vestax VCI-400.
