Audacity automatically does "select all" after importing file

Hello! Audacity 3.6.0 became to do automatically “select all” after I open file (associated with Audacity), after importing, I have to remove selection. Please, correct.

I have logged this as a regression bug on Muse’s GitHub issues log:

Imported audio is now auto-selected, thereby destroying any prior selection that the user had

Use File > Import - or use drag&drop

You also can associate (open with…) audio file (.mp3 or else) with audacity.

@lightstorm22 @_00 What’s your use case for the old behavior? Where exactly does the new behavior get in the way of your workflow?

At first I associated .mp3-files with Audacity. So that after clicking “open” in context menu it is opened by Audacity, as if it’s imported. I did so to make import easier. And then it happens, as we wrote. The entire track is already selected, though I didn’t touch any button yet. There was no such problem in all previous versions.
